Multiple reports emerging from Italy suggest that Leonardo Bonucci is set to pursue legal recourse against Juventus, following his exclusion from the team during the summer.
The prominent Italian international found himself training separately during pre-season, as he was no longer considered part of Massimiliano Allegri's plans. In a surprising move, Bonucci made a free transfer to Bundesliga side Union Berlin on the deadline day.
He asserts that Juventus's decision to keep him out of the first team for an extended period has caused him harm. Reports from trusted sources indicate that Bonucci intends to file a lawsuit against his former club, citing a breach of the collective agreement with the Italian Association Of Footballers.
It has been revealed that Bonucci trained at Juventus' facilities in the evening, separate from the rest of the team, and never had interactions with the technical staff. He also did not have access to all the training amenities. His legal representatives, Antonio Conte and Gabriele Zuccheretti, are expected to initiate legal proceedings promptly.
Bonucci has made it clear that in the event of a favorable court ruling, he intends to donate the awarded sum to Neuroland, an NGO dedicated to supporting families with children hospitalized at the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Hospital Regina Margherita in Turin.
Additionally, he plans to contribute to Live Onlus, an organization focused on procuring and supplying defibrillators for sports clubs, schools, and municipalities.
