London, UK - The Football Association has officially confirmed that Arsenal will face Manchester City in the upcoming FA Community Shield on Sunday, August 6th at Wembley Stadium.

As Manchester City completed a double domestic league and cup win, Arsenal will take on the reigning champions in the annual curtain raiser following their second-place finish in last season's Premier League.

With Arsenal having claimed the Shield 16 times in their history, including a shared title in the 1991 final against Tottenham Hotspur, all eyes will be on their 24th appearance in the competition.

The contest promises to be an exhilarating showcase of top-class football as the recently crowned Champions League winners take on Arsenal, who last triumphed in 2020 after a penalty shootout victory over league champions Liverpool.

Fans can tune in live on ITV to witness the high-stakes action, set to kick-off at 5.30pm BST.
