Blaqbonez

In an exclusive interview on The Nancy Isime Show, Blaqbonez, the popular Nigerian rapper, stunned audiences when he revealed his plans for marriage. While he stated that he did eventually plan to get married, he explained that his union would be far from traditional.

The "Haba" crooner went on to explain that, out of personal choice, he did not want to be in the same room as his wife. He revealed that the idea behind this unique arrangement was to accommodate his distinct characteristics, as he preferred a darker, batman-inspired aesthetic, while his hypothetical wife might prefer something completely different. To drive his point home, he explained, "You'll have your room and I'll have mine. First aesthetically, what if I'm a Batman and I want everywhere dark and Batman-ish, and you are a Barbie Princess. You stay in that room and I stay in this." He then went on to reveal that having a separate room from his spouse would also allow him to maintain his polygamous nature, so that he could have relationships with other women without disturbing his wife. While the idea of a separate room may be a hard pill for many to swallow, Blaqbonez defended his choice, stating that he believed that a relationship should be based on mutual respect and understanding, even if it went against societal norms. During the interview, the rapper even tried to shoot his shot at the host of the show, Nancy Isime, by jokingly suggesting that she would make a perfect candidate for his unconventional union.
