Arsene Wenger, a former manager of Arsenal, has spoken about Chelsea's concerns following their Champions League elimination on Tuesday. Real Madrid eliminated the Blues from Europe's top competition 4-0 overall after a previous 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea, now led by Frank Lampard after Graham Potter was fired earlier this month, have lost their last four games and appear to be without a plan, despite the club's owners spending an enormous £600 million on transfers.

Wenger was questioned about the circumstances at Chelsea and co-owner Todd Boehly's conversations with players in the locker room. This week, it was made public that Boehly spoke with Chelsea's players following the team's 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.   When questioned about his tolerance for the intrusion as a manager,   manager,

Wenger said:
"No, I wouldn't, that was always clear in my mind. "I always put that in my contract.
Wenger also hinted at a potential instruction for whoever replaces Potter permanently with Julian Nagelsmann, 35, a favourite to take over at Stamford Bridge. "The advice I give to young coaches when they make contracts, I say make what is important for you, put that clearly in your contract that you are the only one, nobody can buy a player without your agreement, nobody can interfere with the team, and you are solely responsible for managing the team,"

Wenger added.
"After that, you stand in a different way because usually when a club wants you, you are in a strong position. "Once you’ve lost three games and you want to put that in a contract it’s already more difficult."
