Super Eagles' head coach, Jose Peseiro, assures that Kelechi Iheanacho is ready to represent the team at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d'Ivoire.
Peseiro stated in an interview in Abu Dhabi, "Kelechi will be with us in Cote d’Ivoire. He has finished his treatment at Leicester City."
The striker, recovering from a muscular injury, will join the squad after missing the Abu Dhabi training camp. The Super Eagles, departing for Cote d’Ivoire soon, kick off their AFCON campaign on Feb. 11 against Equatorial Guinea.
