Highways leading to Okene, the native town of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, have reportedly witnessed the intervention of Nigerian Army soldiers just moments before the state's gubernatorial election is set to commence.
In a swift response, soldiers on election duty halted and apprehended three "strange" black security vehicles, marking a significant activity unfolding as the state gears up for the election.
The incident took place as the soldiers, stationed at a barricade near Itakpe Junction shortly before Okene's main town, detected the suspicious vehicles and swiftly took them into custody.
